From November 17 - 19, Jamaica's premium, annual artisan market experience will be showcasing some of the rarest finds and chicest island looks. With MoDA Market 2023 just around the corner, we hope you have your holiday shopping list ready!

Alongside small-batch artisan producers, we have invited some of our favourite designers to present their latest creations. Here are the four fashion phenoms to look out for at MoDA Market 2023.

Kimon Baptiste-St. Rose

Kimon Baptiste-St. Rose is one of the most prominent Caribbean fashion designers on the scene today. Hailing from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the self-starter officially launched her Kimmystic.Clo brand in 2006, describing her designs as functional, timeless and versatile. Now, with retailers throughout the region and over two decades in the industry, she is actively shaping what it means to be Caribbean Chic.

Korto Momolu

Liberian-born Korto Momolu ( cut・toe mo・mo・lu) is one of the most recognisable Western designers consistently bringing African culture and influence to her work in high fashion in the region. Her design aesthetic is decidedly bold, channelling playful silhouettes complemented by masterful tailoring.

Fun fact: The project runway fan favourite was such a dominant presence on the show that they called her back for not one but TWO all-star seasons.

Carlton Jones

Michelle Obama, Halle Berry, Erykah Badu, Aretha Franklin and Queen Latifa are just some of the names that have trusted their looks to Carlton Jones’ capable hands—why wouldn’t we? Recognised by the likes of ESSENCE, VOGUE, and the CFDA for his undeniable talent and contribution to the industry, Jones’ eponymous brand highlights a true mastery of the resort wear aesthetic with fluid designs that look and feel like liquid luxury.

Cesar Galindo

Cesar Galindo is a master designer with over three decades of experience honing his craft and his brand into the effortlessly elegant tour de force that it is today. The Latin American earned his big break when his washed silk kimono dress made the cover of ELLE Magazine in 1993. Since then, he has helped to shape brands such as Dolce and Gabbana and Calvin Klein.

We couldn't be more excited for this year's MoDA Market lineup. We hope you'll stop by #ThePinkBuilding to discover all we have in store!
